ASCO has recently supplied a Dry Ice Pelletizer P28i to this customer and we are interested to learn more about the company, its business field and the use of dry ice in South Africa in general.
Extension of dry ice production in Khartoum
ASCOs customer The Modern Acetylene & Oxygen Company Ltd. in Sudan has recently bought two ASCO Dry Ice Pelletizers P28i to supply high quality dry ice to their local market. The Sudanese company and ASCO have been maintaining a pleasant collaboration and long business relationship for many years. Their factory includes not only a dry ice production but they also operate three ASCO CO2 Production Plants to supply CO2 to the African beverage industry.
ASCO relies on solar energy and produces its own electricity
At the end of 2021, 336 solar panels were installed on the roof of the ASCO production site in Eschlikon (Switzerland) for the generation of green electricity through solar radiation. The expected annual yield of the solar system has been calculated at 111'300 kWh.
